About Rich

I've been taking photos both professionally and otherwise for over 30 years. I got seriously back into photography after purchasiing a good digital camera. Digital allows us to extend our creativity in so many different directions. I'm working in ways I only dreamed of with film.

I've always been more inspired by painters than photographers. My biggest influences are the Impressionists, Gene McInnerney, Hal Singer and Andrew Weyth, all painters. However, instead of imitating the brushwork of the artists I love, I'm learning to use the textures around me to craft my digital images.
