   Hi Craig --

   Thank you for such an inspiring and instructive Light Diary podcast. Using your RAW files to show us what you did in post processing was so very helpful.

   On the front end, seeing how kept shooting and working with each person showed me the effort it takes to get the kind of beautiful portraits that you get. Showing us how you came up with your concept and shooting many images to capture the concept, and then using those images to create the end composite portrait was extremely helpful. Thank you for another inspiring podcast!!!

   On another note, some folks in the Community are reporting problems logging in here to leave their comments. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

   Hi Marti,

   Thank you for the kind words of support!!! The password problem had been ongoing since the last version of RV was installed ... we are working on it but these password issues may not go away entirely until we relaunch the new site and either build our own community software or work with another type of community shareware.....    I can log in without problem. But the result of the login is a "404, page can't be found." After that I can navigate back to the discussion and post.

   Hi, Craig - first I want to thank you for all your sharing, and then thanks for sharing on this particular Lensbaby technique. I'd thought I'd spotted the various areas where you'd focused for each image in the merges of the 2 or 3 you used for these composites. But sometimes I was wrong. It never occurred to me that you'd clone in a different background in part of an image! Also, I'm glad to know more about your thinking process, which seems to me to be nothing sort of the way a genius thinks. A genius for me is someone who thinks waaaay outside the box and then gets extraordinary results from the application of that thinking.

   Craig,

   I really enjoyed this Light Diary. I know how much you enjoy using the Lens Baby and it was very interesting to see/hear your thought process in taking each image. I have not had much success in using the lens. Hopefully you can show me how to use the lens at the street workshop in September.

   Hi Craig,

   This LD knocked my socks off! I've always been a little jealous of painters for the boundaries that don't exist in their creative world. This LD so clearly highlights how to use our tools to overcome gaps that may exist between the vision and a single fraction of a second and just one perspective. A great demonstration of what is possible, and a gentle reminder that the only real boundaries are the lines we create in our heads!
