  1. April, thank you again and again for being so creative and being such an inspiration to me. And thanks, Craig, for your recognition of her creativity. What you said, Craig, about a project having some basis that viewers can depend on, some constant that sets the stage for each image within the project, is a really great reminder for me.

Love & Hugs to both of you,

    Flo

  2. In a word - WOW! April and Craig - thank you for the beautiful photographs and the inspiration! I am working on a conceptual project around photography and how my photographs can be representational of all of our senses, so this was a beautiful example of one approach. THANK YOU!

  3. Absolutely stunning photography April. Your work has really inspired me in so many ways. Your images have a "zen" feel to them that is very appealing to me. I just can't put words to how much your images have moved me. I also love the fact that the set up is supposedly easy to set up and practice and learn from. I would be grateful if you could post an image of your set up on the community to get a real accurate look at the set up. I will use this inspiration many times as I think of shooting my own images. Again, Thank You!

And Craig, your teaching was so punchy, clear, inspirational, and helped seal the main points in such an elegant manner. I have really enjoyed not just the inspirational part of looking at April's images....but this was like the mini-tutorial I have been looking for. Lately, I have had a big yearning for learning more about lighting and was wishing for a mini course in lighting. What a gift this was!

Well done April and Craig. Thanks for an inspiration that is going to stick with me for a long time.

  4. Thank you April for sharing such inspirational pieces. The elegant simplicity which Craig describes so well is truly beautiful. Most of all, I enjoy the feeling of whimsy which makes me smile as I look at the images. I hope we'll see much more of your work.

  5. This was so stimulating. The images themselves are just great and the commentary was so helpful in examining the techniques used.

    Thank you both!

    Roger

  6. Thank you, April and Craig, for putting together such a lovely set of images. It certainly is inspirational. I find myself drawn to window light images, but I'm still a newbie at it, and the discussion of light modifiers set off the light in my head. Now I need to go practice!

    Thanks and regards,

    - Bill
